Susan Steier is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. She graduated from Bowling Green State University of Ohio with a Bachelor of Psychology degree in 1999. She holds a Master of Counseling Ministries degree from Clarks Summit University of Pennsylvania where she graduated in 2002.
Susan gained clinical experience as both a Mobile Therapist and Mental Health Consultant for 10 years while living in Pennsylvania. She worked with children, teens and families concerning behavioral issues, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Anger, Abuse and Depression. Currently Susan’s passion is working with couples and partners of sexual addiction who are seeking healing, growth and recovery. She is currently completing training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level I).
Susan absolutely believes with God all things are possible and is honored to help both couples and individuals find hope and healing on the journey to redemption and transformation in marriage. Susan’s faith is a core part of her counseling and she works with couples and individuals regardless of their faith beliefs and is sensitive and respectful in honoring individual preferences regarding faith.
Susan enjoys spending time with her husband Danny and their five children by being in nature, playing games, creating in the kitchen and reading.
