SureHope Counseling & Training Center wants to wish all the mother’s a very Happy Mother’s Day! A portion of scripture that paints a beautiful picture of all the many aspects of a mother is Proverbs 31: 10-30. What a blessing!
Some of us do not have mother’s such as this description. Maybe your mother has died or abandoned you. For those, this holiday can be a very difficult holiday to go through. Remember the following:
In Psalm 68:5 God is described being the FATHER of the FATHERLESS….the description goes forth describing all that God is and basically fulfilling anything that we need. Therefore, we know God is the MOTHER to the MOTHERLESS also!
In 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, we are reminded that God is the God of ALL COMFORT. Therefore, whatever type of comfort you may need, at whatever time, the LORD is there.
